The scenic design portrays the Jungian Archetype chart and a space that could emulate many locations.

A series of monologues based on William Shakespeare's characters and situations. A wonderfully modern and intelligent look at themes from Shakespeare.

Measure for Measure 2005 Director Kyle Lewis Scenic Designer Joe Payne Costume Designer Meghan Crevello Lighting Designer Scott Sizemore Sound Designer Joe Killian Music, set design, publicity artwork, and show projections by Joe Payne ©2005. Set in an unknown future world. Definitely the darker side of Measure for Measure. I wanted the set to be more sculptural than realistic. The music was modeled after Howard Shore's score for The Game.
These projections were shown on the set to emulate some sort of security system, showing all of the filth that the city had become. The sequence ended in a series of images of the young lovers, and Angelo's reaction to them on stage.
