Sound Design: Macbeth 2001 Kyle Lewis Dir. Music by Ether ©2000. A post-apocalyptic world. For this production we decided that the witches would be voices on the wind and in the mind of Macbeth. A true collaboration with Director Kyle Lewis.

Original Music: The Legend of Sleepy Hollow 2004 Larry West Dir. & Playwright Music composed Joe Payne ©2004. Composed using Acid Loops and recorded synth tracks. The concept of the play was to start out as a live radio broadcast of The Legend Of Sleepy Hollow in the late 1930s, based on the Suspense series from that period. Then real ghosts take over the production and turn the broadcast inside out. Very exciting score and a huge sound design. You will hear everything from radio broadcast signature suspense themes to ghostly apparition sounds to commercial music from the 1930s. Enjoy!
A Village Fable 2002 Dana Keiter Dir. Music created by Joe Payne ©2002 using Acid Loops. I was hired to add music that completed and complemented an existing score (which this music transitions into at the end of this clip). Set in a fairytale village, which was plagued with sadness and drought.
