© 2007 Pioneer Theatre Company. During the Title song, the entire country is fixated on moving west to strike it rich. On a screen that looked like a huge cowhide, we saw images of gold miners, prostitutes, Asian workers, and towns that cropped up. I turned the found images into a film to create more of a Ken Burns type feel.
