Sound Design and Original Music: Iphigenia 2005 Director L.L. West Scenic Designer Thomas George Costume Designer Brenda Van Der Wiel 35th annual Greek Festival. Music composed by Joe Payne ©2005. An older generation of war hungry men sacrifice the innocence of their children. Sound familiar? The director, Larry West, wanted the play to feel immediate and relevant. His concept sprung from the idea that the chorus would be a modern dress news reporter surrounded by this classical Greek world. The music is a mix of modern news themes and a pseudo classical Greek / modern feel.
